its been ages and ages since my last up date wow i miss this place ever since myspace came out its been like 4 ever n a day but over all i feel as if
life has bene thown my all types of curve balls and shyt
i finished college i wanna go bak me and my mom fight more then ever i miss my lil siter the way she was we use to get along my mom is now a fukikin nut she like sum type of fukin clean freak im not even noticed i work hard and i wanna work even harder but at time like when im being scolded for the most imperiousthings in my life it takes it tolls over me w/ time you knw i feel less motivated my passionate fire goes out and right ow its soo faint i dont wanna lose that thats why im like you knw what FUK THE WORLD AT THIS POINT its full of ppl who will try to fuk w/ u in any way shape or form im like soo blehh ive been workin on a manga secretly for quiet sume time which i will be realsing a sample of it sum time next year see how that goes i wanna go to skool i miss my friends i miss my old life life now really is morbrid at this point i miss saying 9i cant wait o go to a friends you knw when i did live down thee god i hate my lif eup here

I usually don't like to mention it, but as some of you know, I have a very bad case of tendonitis. Because of this (and that it has gotten worse), I have to cut any workload I can. So as much as I may not want to, I have to make a choice. Either give up taking photos (which costs me money), or quit my job (which pays me money). I can no longer do both. I have to give up one of them. And I cannot afford to be out of work. The logical choice is of course, simple. I will therefore, no longer be doing any photoshoots or taking photos at conventions for the foreseeable future.

Because there will be no more new photos on the site, I will suspend the photo of the week section. This will be the last photo of the week.

I know a lot of people like to say things that aren't true, but whether anyone believes it or not, I was genuinely interested in everyone I had ever met. I never expected them to do anything for me in return and I didn't care if someone had a fancy costume or not, or if they were popular or not. I didn't take photos for me. I started taking photos, hoping to help people capture their memories.

So I guess this is goodbye and thank you for the memories, many of which..... even if it didn't matter much to you, I will never be able to forget....

WOW FIRST OFF METRO CON 06'

TIS WEEKEND WAS PERHAPS THE HIGH LIGHT IN ALL OF WELL THE ANIME CONVENTION ATENDIEZZ METRO CON IN TAMPA IS WELL PERHAPS AND WELL FOR TEH MOST PART THE LARGEST CON VENTION FL IN THE STATE IT IS SOO MUCH FUN UNFORTUANTLY I KINDA MISSED OUT ON FRIDAY AND THE THE MASQUERAIDE (W/E THATS SPELLED) BUT THE COS PLAYIN WAS SOOO MUCH FUN. This year I've been busy!

I as the chair of this convention always had an uphill battle on the things that would occur at this convention with the owners of the company. The battle in a sense was my and my staff's views of what a convention should be vs. a large marketed, hyped, and money sucking event. Any of the staff at the convention would easily point out this fact.

Now with that said, As of the last post - the convention was planned, scheduled, Program was ready, all the guests were accounted for (minus one), the hotel was finalized, every spot (yes a full vendor room) was accounted for, and the staff needed was ready. This is what has transpired.

The Owner's of the company, my co-con-chair Mark Squillante and his family have disappeared from the fray - I don't know what has happened to the $75-80K in equipment we have, I dont know if they attempted to sell it or have simply refused to utilize it for the event. During the denver event, we went overbudget by about $30k while this event was pegged at 800-1000 people the end result was actually somewhere in the 450-500 attendance. I was not given correct numbers by the co-con-chair. Looking back at was has happened I went over some paperwork I had on file and potentially the numbers from last year (although never posted officially by me) appear to have been in the 3400's not anywhere near the 5000 number as suggested by soft counts. Note: the servers that were used in that first event as a registration system had failed and a number of 5122 badges were printed. this apparently had badges that were bad prints and the server counted them. This is where Maboroshi from rising sun debated the official numbers.

As I have stated in the past the numbers I knew were given to me, and I trusted them. In retrospect, you want something done right, do it yourself.

Aside from some of these findings and problems. The Ownership of the company decided to take care of themselves first, after Denver, and some of the debts the company had. This is where one my major problems comes from.

Mark and his family have decided to delay, to the point of exhaustion, the pay of my trusted staff. The Staff which worked so hard for me and trusted me.

This I cannot except. Even I am owed a small amount of money which I lent to the company to help in a time of need. I know some people have their reservations about me from whatever has been posted online by a few discontented fans or review sites. But none of them know me or have ever really cared about the truth. My self and my friends are a good group of fans, most of the time we're just a bunch or nerdy folk having fun with whatever topic is in front of us. The other time we are professional business people with jobs in our life that make running events in a corporate setting no problem.

Because of the above, I will not work for Kunicon any more. While the entity still exists I have been shut out from the organization with its decisions. Unfortunately I do not see how the convention will occur in December.

If Mark and his family pay my staff what is owed to them I will reconsider continuing to work with them and reschedule the date of the event. I have attempted for weeks to contact them in hopes of setting up a contract to buy them out, to no avail.

My fault here lies in making you wait - I sincerely apologize to all of you for that. If it is possible to bring this event back I will find a way. for now my full support (as it has always been) is in YasumiCon.

But looks like in the end some of you were right, I learned that the hard way, I trust people because I believe in people. This company was not in it for the best intentions of the fans or its staff it wanted to make money - perhaps I knew that on some level and wanted to change it from the inside. The paperwork for Not-For-Profit was never even filed by Mark, this upset me greatly.

So there it is folks. There is no other way to say it. Just remember to those of you that will still want my head on a platter - a convention is no easy task - a convention like ours was a large logistic task that took lots of teamwork and planning, and we did it 4 times in less than 6 months, before you truly judge any of the staff I worked with that sweat blood and tears to make this event work - do exactly what I did for the last year and then come back and judge us.
